We were delighted and honoured to present Tommy Schweiger with his My Voice Life Storybook titled “And The Rest Is History” in June.
Tommy escaped Nazi Germany with his parents at the age of eight months three days before war broke out. His grandparents and many of his wider family were murdered by the Nazis.
His story is another example of loss followed by fortitude, resilience and commitment to the Jewish people and Israel.
The book presentation took place in the presence of three generations of the Schweiger family and THE FED‘s My Voice team alongside Raphi Bloom, our Director of Fundraising and Marketing, Fed trustee Julie Besbrode, family, friends and Rabbi Dovid Lewis.
Tommy’s book is the 39th life story book of Holocaust Survivors the My Voice project has produced and we have another 17 in production.
